In this third quarter of 2017 we have seen many parts of the globe which have encountered unfortunate scenes of both hurricanes and earthquakes which have devastated local communities and caused major flight disruptions and cancellations.
Here is the current advice being given to anyone who intends to travel to/from these affected areas:
A deadly earthquake (19th SEPT 2017) with a magnitude 7.1 and a previous eruption (8th SEPT 2017) have caused major travel complications and MEXICO City airport was closed temporarily but has now re-opened.

This low cost carrier has abruptly cancelled 2,100 of their flights over the next 6 weeks up to 31st OCTOBER 2017 after it has admitted that it has messed up the allocation of annual leave for their pilots.

UPDATE – A FURTHER 18000 FLIGHTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED BETWEEN NOV 2017 AND MAR 2018.
Commencing 29th October 2017 from three to four flights departing from DUBLIN to TORONTO utilising their new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with additional new routes from DUBLIN to MONTREAL commencing 3rd JUNE 2018 and a SHANNON to TORONTO service starting on 2nd JUNE 2018. All services will feature both a Business class and economy class configuration.

This hotel chain has just announced on 20/09/2017 that they have been chosen to run a newly commissioned property at Grosvenor Square, Mayfair situated within the existing US EMBASSY building.
Renovations will be based upon designs undertaken by architect Sir David Chipperfield to include the provision of 137 guest rooms, five restaurants, six retail units, plus a spa and ballroom to cater for up to 1000 delegates.
